if you don’t know already, my car was stolen this last week. this is why cars suck. i guess it would be more appropriate to say that people suck. but i won’t be one to pin this generality upon the entire human population because of a few meatballs who’ve decided to abandon the ideas of personal property and ownership in favor of a looser definition of what is actually mine and not theirs. communism makes for great theory but practicing it upon others, especially myself just plain sucks. so if you see my car (Black Honda Civic EX, Arizona license plate 570 ADV) gimme a call or just call the cops. and if you find the idiot who did this please feel free to punch them in the face for me. the greatest thing about this whole mis-adventure is that my car is pretty much worthless in the grand scheme of things, except to me who has to come up with the dough to purchase a new one.
the best part of having your car stolen is that you will never get back the real worth of the car. sure, insurance will give you market value of the car but who’s going to go out and purchase that exact same year car with the same amount of miles? you’re telling me I should go out and purchase a ’93 honda civic with 150,000 miles on it? and do what – wait another year or so like I’d planned and purchase a new(er) car? gimme a break. then there is just the hassle of going out and finding a new car and financing the piece of junk. this is why cars suck. some one better figure out teleportation real quick before I go nuts.
the good thing about all this is that I won’t have to put up with that old Civic anymore. it was definitely starting to get old. creaks, whines, and other odd noises from just about every corner of the car. I’m good if they want to give it back but I’m ready for new car all the same.
